47 Organizations Condemn Senator Bennet and Hickenlooper’s Votes Against Blocking Weapons Sales to Israel

47 national, statewide, and local Colorado organizations have signed onto a letter led by NIAC’s Colorado Chapter, Peace Action, and MPower Change Action Fund letters to Senators Bennet and Hickenlooper expressing deep concern over his recent vote to approve weapons transfers to Israel amid its ongoing assault on Gaza, in violation of U.S. and international humanitarian law. The letters urge each Colorado Senator to join the majority of Senate Democrats in opposing future arms sales, support legislation conditioning U.S. military aid, and call for an immediate ceasefire and restoration of humanitarian aid.
