قانون پیشنهادی (در ایالت تگزاس) درباره ممنوعیت مالکیت زمین تعرض به حقوق شهروندان ایرانی نسب است.
واشنگتن- فرماندار تگزاس٬ گِرِگ ابوت درصدد است که قانون TX SB147 را که شهروندان ایرانی را به همراه شهروندان چین٬ روسیه و کُره از داشتن ملک در ایالت تگزاس منع می کند امضا کند. مقامات محلی و ایالتی این قانون را مغایر با قانون اساسی خوانده و آن را محکوم کرده و بر لغو آن تاکید دارند.
NIAC condemns racist property ownership ban in Texas
Proposed legislation attacks Iranian citizens by banning them from owning real estate. Gov. Greg Abbott has promised to sign a bill (TX SB147) that would ban Iranians — along with citizens of China, North Korea and Russia — from owning property in Texas.
