NIAC President Jamal Abdi joined NIAC Community Council Member Dr. Behrooz Ghamari-Tabrizi for a virtual discussion hosted by the Massachusetts Peace Action Education Fund, NIAC, and the Community Alliance for Peace and Justice on the Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the future of U.S.–Iran relations. The webinar examined the prospects for diplomacy following recent military escalations, the historical context of the MOU, the role of Congress and the anti-war movement, and pathways toward a lasting peace.
